  • Students can earn 0.5 high school elective credit by completing 75 hours in the Work-Based Learning course. This includes:
    • 65 hours at a job site, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world work environment. 
    • 10 hours in the Schoology course, designed to support career exploration, reflection, and skill development.

Considerations

  • The businesses that students choose to work with must be approved by the program coordinator.
  • Recommended for grades 10-12
  • This program provides students with valuable career readiness while applying classroom learning in a practical setting
