The Colorado Reading Corps is an AmeriCorps program dedicated to improving literacy skills in young students from kindergarten through third grade. This program places trained literacy tutors in classrooms across Colorado to provide targeted reading support, helping children develop the foundational reading skills necessary for academic success.

Eagle Rock School
Eagle Rock is a year-round, full-scholarship, residential high school designed for students ages 15-17 who are seeking a unique, hands-on education experience focused on personal growth, social justice, and leadership. Sponsored by the American Honda Motor Company, the school offers an innovative curriculum and a 24-day wilderness orientation, while its Professional Development Center collaborates with educators nationwide to enhance progressive teaching methods.
Estes Park Education Foundation
The Estes Park Education Foundation (EPEF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation that will work to inspire community investment through exemplary student learning experiences today to develop our citizens tomorrow. With the support of our community and a high quality education, all Estes Park school District R-3 students will graduate as thriving, successful, responsible citizens. (Mission and Vision Statements).
The Estes Park Education Foundation provides supplemental funds for innovative educational ideas, which otherwise may not be supported due to lack of state funding (Estes Park School District is currently ranked 108 out of 178 in Colorado for per-pupil funding) and/or other constraints for the district, including more flexibility in acquiring and dispensing funds. Funds raised by and for the Foundation enhance the school district revenues provided by taxpayers, state aid, and other public funding sources. Additionally, the EPEF generates community involvement and highlights the many accomplishments of the Estes Park School District and its students.
Estes Park Health
Serving the Estes Park community since 1975, Estes Park Health is a critical access hospital offering a wide range of medical services, including a 24-hour emergency department, surgical services, and outpatient care. As the only hospital in the area, they provide essential health resources to both residents and the millions of visitors to Estes Park each year, with facilities like an urgent care center and various specialized care units.

Estes Park Police Department
The Estes Park Police Department provides law enforcement and community safety services for the town’s residents and millions of visitors each year. Their efforts focus on crime prevention, community engagement, and fostering regional partnerships, such as the recent collaboration with the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, where Captain Ian Stewart serves as the interim police chief.
Estes Park Quota Club
This nonprofit organization, established in 1949, is dedicated to community service in Estes Park, particularly supporting individuals with hearing and speech impairments, as well as providing assistance to women, children, and seniors in need. The club operates a Medical Loan Closet that offers durable medical equipment to locals and visitors on a temporary basis, and it hosts annual fundraising events like the Taste of Estes.
Estes Valley Library
Estes Park School District Libraries bring a world of information to the students of Estes Park. Through partnership with the public library and Eagle Rock School, patrons across the Estes Valley can now take advantage of borrowing from over 1,000,000 titles from our 5 physical sites and eMaterials.
Estes Valley Recreation & Park District
The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (The Rec) offers many youth programs and activities. Many Bobcat Sport Clinics are available for the youth of Estes Park to improve their skills. The Rec also provides a complete exercise facility including pool, weights, gymnasium, golf simulator, indoor track and many other features.
Estes Valley Fire Protection District
This organization is dedicated to protecting life, property, and the environment in the Estes Valley through fire suppression, emergency medical services, and public education. It serves both residents and the high number of annual visitors, operating with a combination of full-time and volunteer firefighters and actively engaging in wildfire prevention efforts.

Serving the broader northern Colorado area, FRCC provides accessible, high-quality educational programs with campuses in several locations, including online. FRCC focuses on supporting students in achieving degrees, professional certificates, and transfer opportunities, offering a variety of academic and career-oriented programs.
Laura’s Ice Cream
A beloved local business, Laura’s Fine Candies in Estes Park offers a wide selection of handmade candies, ice cream, and other sweet treats. They also host a yearly Ice Cream Flavor Contest, where Estes Park Elementary School fourth grade students create a new flavor and the winning submission gets made into a real ice cream!

Mission: Believing that education unlocks dreams, we support students of all ages – inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
The Estes Park Learning Place believes education is the key that unlocks dreams. EPLP provides K-12 tutoring, GED support, SAT/ACT preparation, career development support, and more, for youth and adults in the Estes Valley.
A need-based scholarship program is an integral part of the Learning Place’s ability to effectively serve the community. The goal of this program is to never let someone’s financial situation keep him/her from reaching his/her full potential.
